Victorian Skills Commissioner
| Victorian Government
Neil was appointed as the first Victorian Skills Commissioner (VSC) in December 2015. This independent role signalled a new direction in how industry would engage with the training system. The VSC works with employers, unions and government to better align training with the needs of the Victorian industry and economy.
Prior to this Neil was the CEO of the Victorian Employers Chamber of Commerce, CEO of Jayco Corporation, ran his own consulting business and was the Deputy Reviewer for the Government’s independent VET Funding Review in 2015. Neil was awarded the Centenary of Federation medal in 2003 for service to industry.
